How to create and evaluate a finished product?

It is possible to manually create and evaluate a finished product in Glimpact by filling in the activity data form with your product data in order to assess its environmental impact.

There are many finished product categories in Glimpact, each of which is linked to a PEFCR or PCR.

The logic of the form for manually entering data into a finished product is the same for all categories, and is often linked to the stages in the product's life cycle.

To create a product, you need to have components in your workspace. They may have been added to your workspace by Glimpact or you can create your own components. Find out more about components here.

If one of the mandatory field is missing the “Evaluate” button won’t be accessible. Instead you’ll see the “Validation error(s)” button, as there won’t be enough activity data to evaluate your product.

You can click on the validation error button to access a list of missing mandatory activity data. Then, if you click on one of them, you will be redirected to the field.
