How to create a finished product in Glimpact?

In this module, we will see how to manually create a finished product in Glimpact and fill in your data in order to asses its environmental impact.

There are many categories of finished products available in Glimpact, each of them linked to either a PEFCR or a PCR.

The form logic to manually input data in a finished product is the same for all categories, we will show you how to do it for a textile example:

The following example will be the evaluation of a basic men’s shirt associated with the PEFCR (PEFCR ) Apparel and Footwear (Apparel and Footwear)

Fill in your product data

Once created, a product appears in a form. This form system is a similar logic to every entity category. As you can see it is divided into 2 main areas:

<aside> ⚠️ Activity Data required are different from one product category to another. For example, activity data for a food product are different from a textile product or a footwear. The example shown below are based on the Apparel and Footwear categories

As you can understand, it is required to fill in the activity data of your components to evaluate it.

The form is divided into 6 main parts, representing the whole life cycle of a product:
