Regulation compliant

The EF methods are compliant with all EU regulations :

CSRD

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, mentionned that the method can be used to measure and communicate the life cycle environmental performance of products and organisations.

ESPR

The Ecodesign for Sustainable product Regulation, defines the environmental footprint as : “a quantification of a product’s environmental impacts, whether in relation to a single environmental impact category or an aggregated set of impact categories based on the Product Environmental Footprint method”
