Ecodesign simulation enables you to create a new analysis case based on one of your current products. It allows you to modify the product's activity data to see how these modifications impact the product's overall environmental performance.

There are two ways to create an eco-design project:

You can edit the meta data of the project or the simulation (rename, add tags, change access right, apply scenarios…).
You can save the ecodesign you worked on, as a new analysis case in the Footprint main page.
The project reference point indicates which analysis case you have used to generate your eco-design project. You can change it or clear it if needed.
The button “Analyze results” brings you to the entity analysis page where a more detailed analysis of the simulation can be found, with for example a Sankey diagram.

When you modify your project's activity data, see the impact of these changes live on the right.
You can view the impact values for the entire product or by life-cycle stage, and access key performance indicators.
